LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech baseball is just around the corner, and while Opening Day isn't until Feb. 18, fans can now secure their seats at Dan Law Field for the 2011 season by purchasing season tickets now.
Season tickets start as low as $99 and come with a season ticket holder exclusive Under Armour cap. Or, if you can't commit to the full-season ticket package, try the Pinch Hitter Pack that includes 10 vouchers that are good for any home game for only $80. Fans will also have an opportunity to hand pick their seats at a select a seat event on Saturday, Feb. 12, one-hour prior to the annual alumni game. Texas Tech will play 33 of its 56-game regular season schedule at the friendly confines of Dan Law Field, including an 18-game opening homestand during the first month of the season. The Red Raiders open the 2011 season with the Red Raider Classic, Feb. 18-20, by hosting Western Michigan, Northwestern and Utah Valley.
Tech will then host the second-annual Brooks Wallace Memorial Classic (Feb. 24-27) as they welcome BYU and Northern Illinois. Fans will then get to see Tech battle UNLV (Mar. 1-2) in a midweek series before hosting preseason No. 1 TCU (Mar. 4-6).
The Red Raiders will conclude their opening homestand welcoming Iowa and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a total of five games from Mar. 11-16.
Texas Tech will host four Big 12 Conference series at Dan Law Field this season as Nebraska (Mar. 25-27), Texas A&M (Apr. 8-10), Kansas (Apr. 29-May 1) and Oklahoma State (May 20-22) travel to Lubbock.
Fans will also get to see New Mexico (Apr. 26-27) and Dallas Baptist (May 3) in midweek action at "The Law."
