A three-time all-district and two-time all-state pick, Eureste led St. Pius X to a 35-5 overall record his senior season while winning the district championship. He was also a standout on the gridiron while earning first team all-state honors as a senior at defensive back and wide receiver. Eureste was a three-year letterman on the football team.

"He is a great athlete," fourth-year head coach Dan Spencer said about Eureste. "We are very excited about what he brings to our program from the standpoint of a shortstop, a middle infielder that is that athletic."
In addition, Eureste's brother, Ray, is a junior infielder at Nicholls State University.
