Red Raiders Take on No. 22 Aggies Saturday

LUBBOCK, TX - The Texas Tech Red Raiders take on the No.22 Texas A&M Aggies Saturday in a 12:30 p.m. contest on the Big 12 Network. Saturday's game is the third consecutive game against a ranked opponent for the Red Raiders.
Brad Sham will call the play-by-play and Bryndon Manzer will provide the game analysis for the Big 12 Network. In the Lubbock area, the game will air on AT&T U-verse (34), DISH Network (34), Suddenlink (10), and "over-the-air" on KJTV-TV (34). ESPN Full Court and ESPN 3.com will also provide coverage of the game.
Mark Finkner will call the courtside action against the Aggies along with analyst Andy Ellis on the Texas Tech Sports Network flagship radio station Double T 104.3. Sirius will have game coverage on Channel 121 and XM will have complete coverage on Channel 141.
Overall, Texas Tech leads the series over Texas A&M, 64-58. The initial meeting between the two teams was on December 17, 1941. In Lubbock, the Red Raiders have a 36-19 margin over the Aggies. Texas A&M leads the series in College Station, 35-22. Texas Tech has 6-4 margin on neutral courts.
Texas A&M completed the nonconference portion of the season with a 13-1 record. The Aggies were 9-0 at home, 1-0 on the road, and 3-1 on neutral courts. The Aggies enter the game against the Red Raiders with a 5-4 conference record. They have home wins over Oklahoma State, Missouri, and Kansas State. Their home losses were to Texas and in overtime to Baylor. The Aggies are 2-2 in conference road games. They won at Oklahoma and at Colorado in overtime. Their road losses were at Nebraska and at Texas.
After twenty-three games, Texas A&M has averaged 70.6 points per game while holding their opponents to 60.4 points per game. The Aggies have two players averaging double figures for the season.
