Red Raiders Back in Action on Wednesday

LUBBOCK, TX - After their road win at Baylor on Saturday, the Texas Tech Red Raiders (12-15) host the Colorado Buffaloes (16-11) on Wednesday evening. The 6:30 p.m. game will be the last conference contest between the two teams with Colorado moving to the Pac-12 next season.
Brian Jensen will call the play-by-play and John Harris will provide the game analysis from the United Spirit Arena. The game will air on the Texas Tech Television Network (TTSN), ESPN Full Court, and ESPN 3.com.
In the Lubbock area, the Red Raider game will air on AT&T U-verse (28), DISH Network (28), and Suddenlink (8), and "over-the-air" (28). The satellite coordinates for the game are: Galaxy 17 - Transponder 24K.
Mark Finkner will call the courtside action along with analyst Andy Ellis on the Texas Tech Sports Network flagship radio station Double T 104.3. Sirius will provide coverage of the game on Channel 157.
Colorado leads the series, 17-13. The initial meeting between the two teams was on December 5, 1959. In Lubbock, the Red Raiders have a 7-6 margin over the Buffaloes. Colorado leads the series in Boulder 10-3. Texas Tech has 3-1 margin on neutral courts.
With Colorado's 89-63 loss at Kansas on Saturday, the Buffaloes are 16-11 for the season and 5-7 in Big 12 action. For the season, Colorado is 13-2 at home, 2-8 on the road and 1-1 on neutral courts. In conference play, the Buffaloes are 4-2 at home and 1-5 on the road.
After twenty-seven games, Colorado has averaged 79.3 points per game while their opponents have scored 72.4 points per game. The Buffaloes have four players averaging double figures for the season. Alec Burks leads his squad with 19.4 points per game. Cory Higgins follows with 16.2 points per contest. Levi Knutson adds 11.4 points per game. Marcus Relphorde drops in 11.2 points per game.
Texas Tech's 78-69 win over Baylor last Saturday was the first Red Raider win in Waco since the 2005 season. Senior Brad Reese topped the squad with 17 points. John Roberson scored 16 points. David Tairu chipped in 12 points. Junior Robert Lewandowski registered a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
After twenty-seven games, Texas Tech is averaging 73.5 points per game and allowing their opponents to score 76.2 points per contest. The Red Raiders have three players averaging double figures for the year. John Roberson leads the Red Raiders with 13.8 points per game. Mike Singletary is second with 12.8 points per outing. Brad Reese chips in 11.8 points per game.
After their game at Oklahoma State on February 26, the Red Raiders complete conference play at home next Wednesday, March 2, when they take on the Oklahoma Sooners. Texas Tech's final conference game of the season is at Texas A&M on March 5.
