LUBBOCK, TX - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (12-16, 4-9) travel to Stillwater, Okla., for Saturday's game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys (16-11, 4-9) in a Big 12 Network telecast. The Big 12 Network Studio preview will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Red Raiders and Cowboys at 12:47 p.m.
Mitch Holthus will call the play-by-play and Bryndon Manzer will provide the game analysis from Gallagher-Iba Arena. In addition to the Big 12 Network, the game will also air on ESPN Full Court, and ESPN 3.com.
In the Lubbock area, the Texas Tech game can be seen on AT&T U-verse (34), DISH Network (34), and Suddenlink (10), and "over-the-air" (34).
Mark Finkner will call the courtside action along with analyst Andy Ellis on the Texas Tech Sports Network flagship radio station Double T 104.3.
Overall, Oklahoma State leads the series, 32-15. The initial meeting between the two teams was on January 1, 1937. In Lubbock, the Red Raiders have a 9-6 margin over the Cowboys. OSU leads the series in Stillwater, 20-4, and on neutral courts, 6-2.
In Lubbock, Texas Tech won the January 29 meeting in overtime, 75-74. OSU's Keiton Page led both teams in scoring with 26 points. Teammates Marshall Moses added 13 points, Markel Brown scored 12 points, and Jean-Paul Olukemi added 11 points. Mike Singletary led Texas Tech with 25 points. Brad Reese scored 19 points and John Roberson chipped in 12 points.
With Oklahoma State's 92-65 loss at Kansas on Monday, the Cowboys are 16-11 for the season and 4-9 in Big 12 action. For the season, OSU is 11-2 at home, 1-8 on the road and 4-1 on neutral courts. In conference play, the Cowboys are 4-2 at home and 0-7 on the road.
After twenty-seven games, Oklahoma State has averaged 69.1 points per game while their opponents have scored 67.7 points per game. The Cowboys have three players averaging double figures for the season. Marshall Moses leads his team with 14.6 points per game. Keiton Page is next with 13.6 points per outing. Jean-Paul Olukemi follows with 11.2 points per contest.
After twenty-eight games, Texas Tech is averaging 73.3 points per game and allowing their opponents to score 76.0 points per contest. The Red Raiders have three players averaging double figures for the year. John Roberson leads the Red Raiders with 14.0 points per game. Mike Singletary is second with 13.0 points per outing. Brad Reese adds 11.6 points per game.
The Red Raiders complete conference play at home Wednesday, March 2, when they host the Oklahoma Sooners on "Senior Night." Wednesday's game begins at 6:30 p.m.
