Texas Tech "Senior Night" Wednesday Against OU

LUBBOCK, TX - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (12-17, 4-10) host the Oklahoma Sooners (12-16, 4-10) and celebrate "Senior Night" with the upcoming graduation of six seniors Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Brian Jensen will call the play-by-play and John Harris will provide the game analysis courtside at the United Spirit Arena. In addition to the Texas Tech Sports Network, the game will also air on ESPN Full Court.
In the Lubbock area, the Texas Tech game can be seen on AT&T U-verse (28 and 753), DISH Network (28), and Suddenlink (8 and 20), and "over-the-air" (28)
Mark Finkner will call the courtside action along with analyst Andy Ellis on the Texas Tech Sports Network flagship radio station Double T 104.3.
Overall, Oklahoma leads the series, 30-18. The initial meeting between the two teams was on December 27, 1944. In Lubbock, the Red Raiders have an 11-10 margin over the Sooners. OU leads in Norman, 18-6, and on neutral courts, 2-1.
In the first meeting this season in Norman, the Sooners won, 83-74. OU's Cade Davis led both teams in scoring with 25 points. Teammates Andrew Fitzgerald added 20 points, Steven Pledger scored 14 points, with Carl Blair and Cameron Clark each dropping in 11 points. John Roberson led Texas Tech with 21 points. Brad Reese scored 15 points and Mike Singletary added 10 points.
With Oklahoma's 82-70 loss at home to Kansas on Saturday, the Sooners are 12-16 for the season and 4-10 in Big 12 play. For the season, OU is 11-4 at home, 1-8 on the road and 0-4 on neutral courts. In conference play, the Sooners are 3-4 at home and 1-6 on the road.
After twenty-eight games, Oklahoma has averaged 66.1 points per game while their opponents have scored 68.3 points per game. The Sooners have three players averaging double figures for the season. Andrew Fitzgerald leads his team with 13.4 points per game. Cade Davis follows with 13.2 points per outing. Steven Pledger adds 11.2 points per contest.
After twenty-nine games, Texas Tech is averaging 73.1 points per game and allowing their opponents 75.8 points per contest. The Red Raiders have three players averaging double figures for the year. John Roberson leads the Red Raiders with 14.1 points per game. Mike Singletary is second with 12.7 points per outing. Brad Reese adds 11.9 points per game.
The Red Raiders will celebrate "Senior Night" and the upcoming graduation of six seniors prior to the Texas Tech-Oklahoma game on Wednesday. Brad Reese, Wally Dunn, D'walyn Roberts, John Roberson, Mike Singletary, and David Tairu will be honored.
Texas Tech completes the conference season at Texas A&M on Saturday, March 5, in a 12:30 p.m. game on the Big 12 Network.
