Lubbock Welcome Event Planned For Hocutt and Gillispie

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech fans will have the opportunity to formally meet new athletics director Kirby Hocutt and head basketball coach Billy Gillispie at a welcome event hosted by the Red Raider Club at the Lubbock Civic Center on May 18.
Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the program will start at noon.
Tickets for reserved table of eight are $600 ($2,500 for AD/head coach's table) and individual tickets are $45. Pre-payment is preferred as tickets will not be sold at the door.

All proceeds will go directly to the Red Raider Scholarship fund which impacts more than 380 student-athletes at Texas Tech.
