LUBBOCK, Texas - The No. 46 Texas Tech Lady Raiders blanked the UTEP Miners on Monday afternoon at the McLeod Tennis Center, 7-0.
"It was nice to get the first win under our belt," head coach Todd Petty said. "I thought we played very good doubles, I thought we came out tight in some first sets (singles) but shook that off in second sets and played pretty well at the end."

Tech's Samantha Adams and Kenna Kilgo stopped UTEP's Martina Trierweiler and Rebecca Calvillo 8-3, at No. 1 doubles.
