Knee Injury Forces Wagner To Miss Remainder Of Season

Kevin Wagner's injury will force him to sit out the remainder of the season.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Kevin Wagner will be sidelined for the remainder of the season after sustaining a knee injury in the Texas Tech men's basketball game against Texas in Austin on Feb. 4, announced head coach Billy Gillispie on Wednesday.
Wagner, a freshman from Lubbock Estacado, has played in 18 games this season, earning six starts. He has averaged 2.5 points and 1.5 assists this season. In Big 12 games, Wagner is averaging 2.9 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
