HOUSTON - Texas Tech wrapped up the second day of play at the 2012 Hampton Inn Galleria Rice Fall Invitational on Saturday, as the rain forced the Red Raiders indoors to finish the second day of the competition hosted by Rice University.
Gabriel Wanderley was the lone Red Raider to win on Saturday, as he topped Rice's Peter Frank, 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the Flight A Consolation Finals.
Raphael Pfister and Evan Nix each lost in the semifinals and will play for third place on Sunday, while Jeff Bryan will play for seventh place.
