What a difference a day makes. The Red Raiders are 8-2 during weekday games and 1-8 in games played on the weekend.
This is the 29th all-time meeting between Texas Tech and Kansas State, with the Wildcats holding an 18-10 advantage. Tuesday marks the sixth time the Red Raiders will face a ranked Kansas State team, including four of the last five meetings between the two teams.
The Wildcats have won five straight and six of the last seven meetings with the Red Raiders. The last Time Texas Tech beat Kansas State was on Feb. 13, 2008, when Texas Tech upset No. 18 Kansas at the United Spirit Arena.
Texas Tech is looking to win three Big 12 games for the first time since 2011. The Red Raiders are looking to get back to .500 through 20 games for the first time since 2011 (10-10) and the fifth time in the last six years.
