Fourth-Ranked Texas Tech Concludes Fall Season In Dallas

Fourth-ranked Texas Tech will conclude the fall portion of its 2014-15 schedule next week as the Red Raiders travel to Dallas for the 2014 Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, Oct. 27-28.
The Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, hosted by Baylor University, will be held at Royal Oaks Country Club (par 71, 7,068 yards) in Dallas and will feature a 12-team field. Along with host and seventh-ranked Baylor, the field will include Duke, No. 35 Houston, No. 47 Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, No. 24 New Mexico, No. 22 Oklahoma, No. 41 Oklahoma State, No. 19 SMU and UT-Arlington.
The Red Raiders climbed to No. 4 in the latest Golfstat.com rankings following a third place finish at the prestigious Tavistock Collegiate Invitational in Orlando earlier this week. Texas Tech defeated top-ranked Illinois in the process as well as then fourth-ranked Baylor.
Hannes Ronneblad paced the squad in Orlando and came away with a third place finish. He is currently second on the team in stroke average at 71.0 and has two top five finishes to his credit.

The two-day tournament will cover three rounds (54 holes) with the first round being played on Monday, Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m., followed by round two later in the day. The final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Teams will be allowed six players with five counting toward the final scorecard.
