Though no former Texas Tech men's basketball player is currently playing basketball in the NBA, a total of 24 former Red Raiders either saw action in 2013-14 or are expected to play during the 2014-15 season.
The current group of former Red Raiders playing professionally spans three decades. The oldest of the group is for Red Raider All-American Cory Carr, who is playing professionally in Israel, while the youngest is Jaye Crockett, who is currently playing in Italy to begin his professional career.
Players who donned the Texas Tech red and black can be seen playing on four continents - North America, South America, Europe and Asia. There are Red Raiders playing in a total of 17 different countries -- Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia and Venezuela.

Charlie Burgess | 06,07 | HARLEM, N.Y. -- Through for games, Burgess is averaging 14.8 points, 5-3 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for Randers Cimbria in Randers, Denmark. Randers is 2-2 on the season and in sixth place in the Denmark League. Burgess was an All-Import selection last season for Randers. Last season, Burgess averaged 18.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists. Burgess came to Texas Tech after spending two seasons at Howard College. He is in his seventh season of professional basketball with six different teams.
CORY CARR | 95,96,97,98 | KINGLAND, ARK. -- The season is about to get underway for the Dean of Red Raiders playing professionally. He will be suiting up for Ramt Hasharon of the Israeli National League. Carr is in his 17th season of professional basketball. His career started with the NBA's Chicago Bulls in 1998-99, where he was named the league's Sixth Man of the Year. He has spent time in the NBA, CBA, IBL, France, Cypress, Italy and Israel. Carr has spent the better part of 14 seasons in Israel and became an Israeli citizen in 2009. Carr may be best known for leading Texas Tech to the NIT in 1995 and the NCAA Tournament in 1996.
Will Chavis | 02,03 | PHILADELPHIA, PA. -- After an 11-year career, Will Chavis retired this summer and moved over on the bench in Nuernberg, where he spent the last five years as a guard. Now he serves as the assistant coach. During his 11 years of professional basketball, Chavis has played in France, Iceland, Greece, Italy, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Cypress and Germany.
Darko Cohadarevic | 09,10| BELGRADE, SERBIA -- Darko is in his fifth season of professional basketball, having played in Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Georgia, Cypress, New Zealand, Japan and now Saudi Arabia. He has signed to play this season with Al Nasr Riyadh in the Saudi Premier League. Last season in Japan, Darko averaged 12.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
Jaye Crockett | 11,12,13,14| CLOVIS, N.M. -- After a standout career that concluded in March, Jaye Crockett has embarked on his professional career in Italy. Crockett plays for Tortona, where he is averaging 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. He had a career-best (college or pro) 23 points in his professional debut against Ravenna, which features former Red Raider Mike Singletary. Crockett is the second leading scorer a team that features four starters in double figures.
Ricardo De Bem | 08 | SAO PAULO, BRAZIL -- Ricardo De Bem is in his seventh season of professional basketball, having played in Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Morocco and Uruguay. He played just one season on the South Plains for then head coach Bob Knight before transferring to Oklahoma City University. De Bem has signed to play for Macae in his native Brazil this season after playing for Liga Sorocabana last year.
Andre Emmett | 01,02,03,04 | DALLAS, TEXAS -- Texas Tech's only consensus first team All-American, Andre Emmett is currently unsigned for this season. He is well-traveled after 10 seasons of professional basketball. He has spent time with several NBA organizations, including Seattle, Memphis, Philadelphia, New Jersey and Chicago. He also saw time with the Austin Toros, Reno Bighorns and Los Angeles D-Fenders of the D-League. Internationally, Emmett has played in Lithuania, Belgium, France, Venezuela, China, Puerto Rico, Lebanon and Mexico. In 2009, Emmett scored a China Basketball Association record 71 points in a game, while playing for the Shandong Lions.
Devonne Giles | 04,05 | NEWARK, N.J. -- Devonne Giles has played for 12 teams since leaving Texas Tech in the spring of 2005. In the United States, he has played in the CBA and the USBL, while also lending his services in China, Holland, France, Hungary Finland and Japan. Currently, Giles starts for Karhu Kauhajoki in Finland's top league. He is averaging 13.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists through six games. He had a season-high 21 against KTP.
Jarrius Jackson | 03,04,05,06,07 | MONROE, LA. -- After not being able to advance in the Rocky Mountain Revue NBA summer league for Atlanta, Jarrius Jackson pursued a professional career overseas in 2007. The six-foot guard has played for teams in Spain, Ukraine and Italy. Jackson currently starts for Givova Napoli in Italy. So far this season, he is averaging 16.8 points, 2.5 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Theron Jenkins | 10,11 | FLOWOOD, MISS. -- After spending two seasons at Texas Tech, Jenkins closed out his career at North Alabama in 2012. Following graduation, Jenkins played for one season for Germany's BSW Sixers. Last season, Jenkins played for the Jackson Showboats of the ABA. He is currently a free agent.
Dejan Kravic | 11,12,13,14 | LONDON, ONTARIO, CANADA -- After regaining health and concluding two solid seasons with Texas Tech in 2014, Dejan Kravic currently plays for the A.G.O Rethymno Aegean in Greece. Through three games this season he has averaged 7.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.3 steals per game.
Robert Lewandowski | 08,09,10,11 | OVERLAND PARK, KAN. -- After playing four seasons with Texas Tech, Robert Lewandowski continued playing basketball in Poland. He has played for teams in the Czech Republic and Germany since then, but has returned to Poland in the 2014-2015 season. Starting for Wikana-Start, Lewandowski averages 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
Ty Nurse | 11,12,13 | VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA -- Ty Nurse concluded two seasons with Texas Tech in 2013. Currently he plays overseas in Germany for Finke Baskets Paderborn. Nurse starts and averages 11.7 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals through six games this season.
Nick Okorie | 09,10 | HOUSTON, TEXAS -- After two seasons as a Red Raider, where he averaged in double figures and recorded 44 starts, Okorie signed with Salon Vilpas of the Finnish League. He followed that first season with stops in Germany and Canada. He was a two-time all-league performer for Mississauga Power and Island Storm in the National Basketball League of Canada. Okorie has returned to Finland this season, where he is starting for the Aalborg Vikings. Okorie is averaging 23.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He is fifth in the league in scoring through five games.
Brad Reese | 09,10,11 | LAUREL HILL, FLORIDA -- After standing out in the Eurobasket summer league following his final season with Texas Tech, Brad Reese played eight games with Lobe Huesca in Spain before moving to Sluneta and starting for a team in Czech Republic. Reese averaged 19.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.4 steals through eight games last season with a team in Finland. He currently starts for Hiefenech Heffingen in Luxembourg.
Esmir Rizvic | 06,07,08,09 | ZENICA, BOSNIA -- Esmir Rizvic played three seasons with Texas Tech prior to pursuing professional basketball in the European leagues. He has played on teams in Germany, Austria, and currently plays for Helios Suns Domzale in Slovenia in the Telemach League. Last year an injury sidelined him for three months and restricted his season to 14 games. Through three games so far this season, he is averaging 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per outing.
John Roberson | 07,08,09,10,11,12 | PLANO, TEXAS -- After starting his final three seasons at Texas Tech, John Roberson began his professional career in Slovenia. In the latter part of 2011 he signed with the South Carolina Panthers in the United States ABA league. Roberson returned overseas in 2012 and played for teams in Switzerland and Sweden. After an attempt in the 2014 NBA Pro Summer League in Orlando, he returned to Europe to pursue his professional career. Through three games this season, he has is averaging 17.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals for Atomeromu in Paks, Hungary.
D'WALYN ROBERTS | 08,09,10,11 | DALLAS, TEXAS -- D'walyn Roberts was a four-year letterwinner at Texas Tech, competing in 113 games and recording 73 starts for the Red Raiders. Roberts spent his first season with the BSV Wulfen in Germany. He spent part of last season with the Texas Cyclones of the UBA. Roberts is currently a free agent.
Ronald Ross | 01,02,03,04,05 | HOBBS, NEW MEXICO -- Following four seasons with Texas Tech, the former walk-on went on to play professionally overseas on teams in Italy, Germany, Israel, Croatia and Greece. He also played on teams in the United States including the Albuquerque Thunderbirds and Albany Patroons. Last season, Ross led his team in Croatia to the semifinals and received A1 League All-Second Team honors, as well as being selected to the A1 League All-Imports Team and A1 League All-Defensive team. Currently, Ross plays for BCM U Pitesti in Romania in the Liga Nationala.
Mike Singletary | 07,08,09,10,11 | HUMBLE, TEXAS - After averaging over 12 points in three of the four seasons he started for Texas Tech, Michael Singletary continued playing basketball outside of the United States, in places such as Belgium, Greece, Montenegro, the Philippines and Uruguay. In 2012 during his professional career he was drafted by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and also played for the Erie Bay Hawks in the United States before making the transition back to international basketball in 2013. Currently he is a starter for the Acmar Ravenna team in Italy. Singletary has averaged 18.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists through five games this season.
David Tairu | 09,10,11 | TEMPLE HILLS, MARYLAND-- David Tairu started and averaged 10 points per game his final season at Texas Tech. After graduating, Tairu pursued a professional career overseas in Iceland, before moving to teams in Qatar, Canada, Greece and Israel. In the states he played for the Cleveland Havok in the UBA and was named to the UBA All-Star Game. Last season in Israel, he averaged 18.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and one assists in five games. He signed with Grand Aignon-Sorgues in France earlier this year, but left the team in September.
Robert Tomaszek | 02,03,04 | BYDGOSZCZ, POLAND -- Following two seasons with Texas Tech Robert Tomaszek continued playing at the professional level in Spain, Italy and Germany. In 2005 he returned to the U.S. to participate in the Reebok NBA Summer League with the Portland Trail Blazers. He returned to Europe in 2006 and signed with a team in the Czech Republic. He started 3 consecutive seasons with them before moving to Poland where he would obtain a starting position. Currently Tomaszek plays for the Slask Wroclaw in Poland, and has averaged 5.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals through four games.
Alan Voskuil | 05,06,07,08,09| BEDFORD, TEXAS --Competing four years at Texas Tech, Alan Voskuil went on to play professionally in Spain. He has seen time on teams in Canada, Denmark, Turkey, Italy and France. He returned to the United States in 2012 and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in Las Vegas with Memphis Grizzlies, but headed back to Europe for the 2012-2013 season and played for Chorale de Roanne in France. The past two seasons, Voskuil as started for Angelico Biella in Italy. Last season he led his team to the Italian DNA Cup, as well as being selected to the Italian DNA All-Star Game, and named All-Italian LNP Gold Third Team honors. Currently, he averages 21.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists through five games this season.
Martin Zeno | 04,05,06,07,08 | SULPHUR, LOUISIANA-- After serving as a catalyst for two NCAA Tournaments during his stay on the South Plains, Martin Zeno pursued pre-draft workouts with the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers and participated in the NBA Summer League with the Lakers. Zeno competed in the EuroChallenge that year and in 2009 was drafted by the D-League Erie Bay Hawks. In Europe, Zeno played on teams in Finland and France. Currently, he is a starter for Denain ASC Voltaire in France. Last season, Zeno averaged 12.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
