STILLWATER, Okla. - Texas Tech sophomore Kimmy Hill fired a final round 80 to finish in a tie for 45th at the 2014 NCAA Central Regional at Karsten Creek Golf Club.
Hill was one of six individual players selected to the regional. The selections were based on the current women's golf player rankings. The top ranked players not on a regional qualifying team were selected.
The Tech sophomore carded rounds of 75, 74 and 80 in her first postseason appearance as a player. Hill was the alternate on last season's regional team.
Hill tallied only 13 holes over par in three rounds and two birdies - both coming in the first round - while totaling 39 pars over the weekend.
Hill and the rest of the Lady Raiders will now begin their summer tournament schedule. Follow the summer golf blog HERE to keep up with all the Lady Raiders.
