Texas Tech Ranked 5th For Fourth Straight Week

Texas Tech is ranked among the top 10 teams in the nation in five of six national polls - including No. 5 in Baseball America's rankings.
LUBBOCK, Texas - For the fourth consecutive week the Texas Tech (9-1) baseball program received a No. 5 ranking from Baseball America while ranking inside the top-10 in the country in five national polls.
The Red Raiders moved up one spot to No. 6 in Collegiate Baseball's rankings, jumped two spots to No. 7 in this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll and also Perfect Game's rankings and landed at No. 10 - moving up three spots - in this week's USA Today Coaches' poll.
Tech remained at No. 13 in this week's D1Baseball.com rankings.
The Red Raiders played one game this last week with a 4-3 walk-off win over Sacramento State last Wednesday at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
Dating back to last season, Tech has been ranked nationally in 22 consecutive weeks while its No. 5 ranking is its highest ranking since 1997 (No. 1).
