BRADENTON, Fla. - Course conditions proved to be tougher than expected on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships, as several lightning and weather delays pushed the end of the round back to Saturday morning.
Play was suspended around 7:30 p.m. eastern time after the two 1-hour weather delays. Play will resume at 8:30 a.m. eastern time, followed by the start of the second round at 9 a.m.
Tech currently sits in 23rd place at 26-over par with four holes to play for three of its five players.
