Two Lady Raiders Advance to Qualifying Round of 16

Felicity Maltby and Gabriela Talaba to Compete for spots in the Riviera/ITA All-American Championship Main Draw
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Felicity Maltby and Gabriela Talaba advanced to the round of 16 in the qualifying singles action of the 2016 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships Tuesday.
Maltby picked up two wins in straight sets over Denver's Julia O'Loughlin (7-5, 6-0) and Marie Leduc of Clemson (6-1, 6-4). Talaba also snagged two-set wins in the first two rounds of play. She defeated Rasheeda McAdoo of Georgia Tech, 6-4, 6-2, to advance to the round of 32. Talaba then defeated Arizona's Lauren Marker, 6-2, 6-1.
Maltby will face Oklahoma State's Viktoriya Lushkova tomorrow at 1:45 p.m. (CT) for a chance to qualify for the main draw.
Talaba will take on Mayar Sherif Ahmed of Pepperdine tomorrow at 1:45 p.m. (CT).
