PREVIEW: Lady Raiders Host Central Arkansas Wednesday

LUBBOCK, Texas – After a week off for finals, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders continue their home stretch with a midweek matchup against Central Arkansas on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Fans can purchase tickets to Wednesday's game for as low as $5 online at www.TexasTech.com or in person on gameday at the United Supermarkets Arena Ticket Office starting 90 minutes prior to tipoff.

PROMOTION
Fans who bring an unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots will receive two free tickets.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
Fans are reminded to go clear at all Lady Raider Basketball games. The new clear bag policy provides a safer atmosphere and speeds up the entry process into the United Supermarkets Arena. For more information, CLICK HERE.

PARKING
Texas Tech is encouraging fans to arrive as early as possible to men's and women's basketball games due to the temporary closure to the entrance and exit of the Commuter West Lot at the Texas Tech Parkway and Knoxville Avenue. This entrance and exit will be closed from Dec. 5 to Jan. 13 for construction. Fans are asked to use the entrances and exits off Indiana Avenue when arriving from the north along with the entrances and exits at Indiana Avenue and 18th Street when arriving from 19th Street or the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

QUICK HITS

Today's game marks the second meeting between the two programs. This is the first meeting under head coaches Candi Whitaker and Sandra Rushing.
In the last meeting, Texas Tech defeated Central Arkansas, 76-43, on Nov. 26, 2011 in Lubbock.
Texas Tech enters the game after defeating Houston, 84-60, during the program's third annual Education Day. The Lady Raiders hosted 5,242 elementary school students.
Central Arkansas enters the matchup coming off five-game win streak. The Sugar Bears defeated Central Baptist College, 94-47, on Monday afternoon.

UP NEXT
The Lady Raiders continue their homestand with a Sunday afternoon contest against Alcorn State. Tip is set for 3 p.m. at the United Supermarkets Arena.
