Following the Lady Raiders game vs. Iowa State, fans are welcome to stay for postgame concert
LUBBOCK, Texas – As a part of Faith & Family Day, Lady Raiders fans are invited to stick around after the Iowa State game on Wednesday, Jan. 4, for a postgame concert featuring contemporary Christian music artist Josh Wilson.

Wilson was raised in Lubbock and is the son to lead pastor Dr. David Wilson at the Southcrest Baptist Church.

Since signing to Sparrow Records in 2006, Wilson has become a staple at radio, amassing five Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart, including "Savior, Please," "I Refuse," "Fall Apart," "Carry Me," "Before The Morning," which landed the No. 4 spot on Billboard's 2012 Year-End Christian Songs chart and "That Was Then, This Is Now."

In 2012, Wilson won the Christian Songwriter/Artist of the Year award from The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. He was also named as the 'future of Christian pop music'.
