The Red Raiders will now face Sam Houston State in a 2 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday afternoon at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's series opener against Sam Houston State has been rescheduled due to forecasted inclement weather expected to arrive in the Lubbock area later this evening.

The Red Raiders will instead face Sam Houston State in a 2 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday afternoon at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. The second game of the doubleheader will start 45 minutes following the completion of game one.

Individual game tickets purchased for Tuesday night will be honored at Wednesday's doubleheader. Fans wishing to purchase tickets for Wednesday or the remainder of Red Raiders' 2016 schedule can do so by calling the Texas Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH or by visiting TexasTech.com.
