• Dropped the Red Raiders to 18-5 at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park this season.
• Dropped the Red Raiders to 13-3 during the month of April. • Marked Texas Tech's first loss at home since falling to then-No. 22 Cal State Fullerton, 4-1, on March 6.
• Dropped the Red Raiders to 44-111 all-time against the Longhorns, including a 22-50 mark in games played in Lubbock.

• Texas Tech failed to score at least five runs for just the second time in the past 13 games.
• Texas Tech had previously scored at least five runs in each of its last 10 games in Big 12 Conference play.
• Texas Tech was previously 25-3 when leading after six innings this season.
• Texas Tech was previously 20-2 when hitting at least one home run this season.
• Texas Tech was error-free in the field for the 15th time this season. The Red Raiders are now 12-3 in those games.
Tyler Neslony
• Recorded his sixth RBI already in the series with a single in the third-inning. He now leads the Big 12 with 41 RBI this season.
• Has now reached base safely in each of the past 13 games which is tied with Tanner Gardner for the longest active streak on the team.
Tanner Gardner
• Hitting a team-leading .625 overall (5-for-8) so far in the series after a two-out triple in the opening inning.
• He is the first Red Raider to record a triple in consecutive games since Hunter Hargrove did so in both games of the Grand Canyon series last year (April 28-29).
• The triple was his team-leading fifth of the season which marks the most for a Red Raider since Tyler Neslony had six in 2014.
• Ended Saturday's action as the Big 12 leader in three categories: batting average (.403), hits (60) and on-base percentage (.508).
Stephen Smith
• Connected on his team-leading ninth home run of the season with a towering solo shot in the fourth inning. His nine home runs lead all Big 12 players.
• Ended Saturday as the Big 12 leader with 100 total bases.
Cory Raley
• Stole a career-high two bases as he is now a perfect 12-for-12 in attempts this season.
• Hitting .600 for the series (3-for-5) with a .667 on-base percentage thanks to three walks.
Hunter Hargrove
• Earned his first start of the season as he earned the nod at third base, finishing 1-for-4 at the plate with a RBI single in the third inning.
