Lady Raiders to host the 2016 Red Raider Invitational.

LUBBOCK,Texas. - No. 26 Texas Tech women's golf will host the 2016 Red Raider Invitational April 8-9 at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas, marking the teams 10th outing in the 2015-2016 season.This weekend's Red Raider Invitational will be the first Texas Tech women's golf event since the 2013 season when the Lady Raiders hosted Western Texas in a one day event.
The Red Raider Invitational will feature a 14 team field including No. 25 BYU, No. 28 SMU, No. 50 New Mexico, No. 41 Purdue, Colorado St, New Mexico State, Iowa, Texas State, Cal Poly, Tulsa, and North Texas, as well as Big 12 foes No. 66 Kansas State and No. 79 Kansas.
In action for the Lady Raiders will be Gabby Barker, Lauren Mason, Mami Yamamoto, Sarah Brown and Kimmy Hill.
Tech will tee off for the first two rounds with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Friday, followed by round three Saturday morning.
