Women's Tennis Undefeated In Season Debut

Lady Raiders win eight singles matches, one doubles match during day one of the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational
MIDLAND, Texas – Texas Tech Women's Tennis opened the fall season with a 9-0 showing during day one of the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational Friday.
Sabrina Federici, Alba Cortina-Pou, Lynn Kiro and Katelyn Jackson advanced to the singles round of 16 after winning the first two rounds of play. All four players took match wins in two straight sets.
The duo of Kiro and Jackson advanced to the second round of play after winning, 8-1.
Federici and Cortina-Pou earned a first-round bye in the women's doubles draw after earned the No. 1 seed of the tournament. They will begin play tomorrow during round two.
