Cobb and Sendegeya Out at ITA Fall Nationals

Jackson Cobb and Alex Sendegeya conclude the fall season with a 7-3 doubles record.
INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Jackson Cobb and Alex Sendegeya were eliminated during Friday's consolation quarterfinals by Minnesota's Felix Corwin and Matic Spec at the ITA Fall Nationals in Indian Wells, California.
Cobb and Sendegeya were broken three times in the opening stanza en route to a 6-3 decision. The second set was a back-and-forth affair, but the Golden Gophers were able to capture the final two games to claim the straight-set win.
A Tough match today where Minnesota played very well and kept the pressure on us the whole match," Texas Tech head coach Brett Masi said. "We needed to hit our first shots better if we wanted to get in it, but we didn't. A great experience for Jackson and Alex though because now they know what they need to do to improve and to get to the next level."
