PREVIEW: Women’s Tennis Travels to ITA Indoor Nationals

Lady Raiders to face No. 8 Vanderbilt on Friday at 2:30 p.m. (CT)
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Texas Tech Women's Tennis team is one of 16 teams headed to compete in the 2017 ITA Division I National Women's Team Indoor Championship this weekend.
The four-day event begins on Friday with Yale University serving as the host.
The Lady Raiders are set to open play against No. 8 Vanderbilt starting at 2:30 p.m. (CT). Earlier this spring, Tech faced Vanderbilt during the Miami Spring Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla.
Tech earned a spot at the indoor national championships for the second straight year after winning their ITA Kickoff Weekend rounds hosted in Lubbock. The Lady Raiders defeated No. 21 Arizona State, 4-3, to clinch the spot in New Haven, Conn.
