Softball Home Slate Begins Friday

Texas Tech hosts the Texas Tech Invitational March 3-5.
LUBBOCK, Texas – After three weeks on the road, Texas Tech softball will play its first home games of the season this weekend as it hosts the Texas Tech Invitational at Rocky Johnson Field March 3-5 with a field that includes Wichita State, UTEP and North Texas.
The Red Raiders' begin play Friday with an opening day doubleheader featuring a matchup against UTEP at 4 p.m. and Wichita State at 6:30 p.m.
Tech continues play Saturday, taking on UTEP at 3:30 p.m. before a 6 p.m. tilt against North Texas. The action concludes Sunday with the Red Raiders taking on North Texas at 1 p.m.
A live stream of each Texas Tech game will be available through TexasTech.tv, while KTXT 88.1 will carry live audio of three games over the weekend. Live stats for each contest throughout the event will be available at TexasTech.Statbroadcast.com.
