Lady Raiders open Big 12 Championship play on Friday at 1 p.m.

NORMAN, Okla. – The No. 7 Texas Tech Women's Tennis Team is set to face Kansas State in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tennis Championships on Friday.

The Lady Raiders (21-4) earned the top seed with an 8-1 record in Big 12 play and winning the 2017 crown.

Junior Gabriela Talaba held on to a Top 10 ranking for the third straight week and is on a five-match win streak entering the weekend.

Junior Sabrina Federici is on a 15-match win streak entering the Big 12 tournament.

K-State defeated Iowa State, 4-1, in the opening round of the Big 12 Championships on Thursday.

In the first meeting this season, Texas Tech took a 4-0 sweep over the Wildcats in the Big 12 season opener.
