MIDLAND, Texas – The Texas Tech men's tennis team wrapped up its opening weekend of the fall season at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational on Sunday.
Jackson Cobb and Matheus Leite dialed up an undefeated weekend in doubles en route to a 7-5 triumph over UTSA's Kai Breitbach and Juri Reckow.
Justin Bloss notched another singles victory and dismissed Joao Ceolin of UTSA by a 6-3, 6-2 margin.
"Whether it is a practice at home or a tournament on the road, we make an emphasis to finish strong," Texas Tech assistant coach Daniel Whitehead said. "I think all three guys finished the weekend playing their best tennis. They competed extremely hard with high energy, and I am proud of the note we were able to finish on today."
Texas Tech continues its fall season and travels to the John Breaux Cajun Tennis Classic hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette.
