Lady Raider Tennis Finishes Out Day Two at UNLV, ASU

Stoica, Miller capture lone wins at Arizona State

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Women's Tennis team added two more wins to fall action on day two of the Arizona State Thunderbird and the UNLV Rebel Invitational.

In Tempe, Ariz., Denise-Antonela Stoica took down Washington's Stacey Fung in straight sets (6-4, 6-3) for her fifth win of the fall season. Nell Miller captured her fifth singles victory of the fall season with a 7-5, 7-6(4) win over Delara Zamani (UW).

The Lady Raiders are scheduled to face Kansas State in doubles and San Diego in singles on the final day at Arizona State.

In Las Vegas, Kennedy Bridgforth and Lana Rush were knocked out of singles and doubles play.
