Women’s Tennis Heads to SMU for First Dual Match

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Women's Tennis program will kickoff its first dual match of the season with a midweek match up at SMU on Thursday.
First serve is set for 1 p.m.
This will be the 26th meeting between the Lady Raiders and Mustangs. The Lady Raiders trail in the all-time series, 4-21, but have won the last three meetings. The two programs last met on Feb. 1, 2014 when the Lady Raiders defeated SMU, 5-2.

The Lady Raiders opened the 2019 season at the Orlando Invitational last weekend. As a team, they picked up 12 singles wins and 7 doubles wins including six wins over ranked opponents.
