Lady Raiders Start Spring Break with Win

Texas Tech captures sixth sweep of the season
FRESNO, Calif. – The No. 9/6 Lady Raiders opened Spring Break with a 4-0 sweep at Fresno State on Saturday afternoon.
Texas Tech improves to 9-2 on the season.
No. 14 doubles pair Sabrina Federici and Sarah Dvorak defeated No. 27 Georgia Lawson and Emma Wilson, marking their third Top 30 win of the season.
No. 54 doubles duo Felicity Maltby and Gabriela Talaba clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory on court two.
No. 9 Gabriela Talaba captured the first singles point of the day with her 6-0, 6-4 victory on court one just before No. 73 Sarah Dvorak gave the Lady Raiders a 3-0 lead with her straight set win (6-1, 6-2) on court five.
Junior Lana Rush picked up her sixth win of the season with a 6-0, 6-2 win on court six to clinch the match for the Lady Raiders.

The Lady Raiders head to Berkley, Calif., for a match against the University of California on Tuesday. First serve is set for 1 p.m. (CT).
