No. 8/6 Women’s Tennis Visits No. 50 Rice on Saturday

Texas Tech to face No. 50 Rice on Saturday at 11 a.m.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 8/6 Texas Tech Women's Tennis team travels to Houston, Texas, for a match against No. 50 Rice this weekend.
First serve is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Lady Raiders (7-2) are on a two-match win streak after sweeping Arizona and NC State last weekend. Tech's win over NC State was the second win over a ranked opponent this season.
Rice (6-3) enters the match after falling to LSU, 4-3. The Owls had a 3-0 lead before the Tigers won straight-set wins to tie it up 3-3 before clinching the match with a three-set win on court one.
UP NEXT
The Lady Raiders head to California for two matches during Spring Break. Texas Tech will face Fresno State on Saturday, March 10, before taking on the University of California on Tuesday, March 13.
