Track & Field Wraps Up ACU Invitational

Red Raiders combine for 20 event wins, 39 individual records
ABILENE, Texas – The Texas Tech Track and Field teams had another great outdoor weekend as they wrapped up the Wes Kittley Invitational.

The women's team finished the day with 14 event champions, 29 top 3 finishes, 13 team season best performances and 24 individual PRs.

Kaylor Harris captured the women's 100m dash title with a personal best time of 11.62. Jessica Gallardo won the women's 800m with her PR time of 2:15.38 while Faith Roberson recorded a collegiate best 59.56 in the 400m hurdles on her way to the event title.

In the field events, five female student-athletes won their events. Chloe Wall posted a personal best and team leading 3.88m (12-8.75) in the pole vault. Zuliat Alli won the women's long jump with her team leading 6.09m (19-11.5) leap in the long jump.

In the triple jump, Paetyn Revell finished on top with her 13.43m (44-0.75) personal best leap. Her mark is the no. 2 jump in the country. Crystal Onwukaife won the shot put in her second straight meet with another personal best throw (16.23m (53-3). The throw ranks sixth in the country. Seasons Usual rounded out the top field performers with her 54.59m (179-1) throw in the discus.

The women's 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams won each event with team-leading times.

The men's team finished with six event titles, 19 top 3 finishes, 11 team season best performances and 15 individual PRs.

The Red Raiders won three running events led by Vincent Crisp who took the 1500m run title with a personal best time of 4:00.12. In the 5000m run, Stephen Alvarez led the way with his PR time of 15:28.58.

Norman Grimes won the 400m hurdles with a personal best time of 51.40 that ranks eighth in the country.

The Red Raiders took the top two spots in the men's long jump. Odaine Lewis won the event with a wind-aided mark of 8.08mw (26-6.25). Justin Hall followed with his 7.75m (25-5.25) leap, ranking eighth in the nation.

In the discus throw, Eric Kicinski recorded the second best mark in the NCAA with his personal best throw of 59.64m (195-8).
