Lady Raiders to Face Florida in SEC/Big 12 Challenge

Big 12, SEC announce challenge matchups
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Big 12 and Southeastern Conference have announced the 2018 challenge matchups and the Lady Raiders are set to face Florida this season.

Texas Tech will travel to Gainesville, Fla., on Sunday, Dec. 2 for the third installment of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Exact time and TV designations will be released later.

The 10-team format began in 2016. The format consists of five home games on campus sites for each conference. Last season, the two conferences split the challenge with a 5-5 mark. Tech has faced Arkansas and LSU the last two seasons.

Season tickets for the 2018-19 women's basketball campaign are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.TexasTech.com, in person at the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office located on the East Side of Jones AT&T Stadium or via the phone at (806) 742-8324.
