Tech Volleyball Slated for Three Home TV Broadcasts

Three conference matches to be broadcast on FOX Sports platforms.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Athletics Department and Red Raider Sports Properties, a division of Learfield, announced Wednesday that three Red Raider volleyball conference home matches have been selected to air on FOX Sports Networks through Texas Tech's third-tier agreement.

All three appearances will be made on FOX Sports Southwest Plus, starting with Tech's matchup against Kansas State at 6 p.m., Oct. 3. Two of the final three home matches will also be featured, including a Nov. 7 showdown with Oklahoma, and a Nov. 12 tilt against Baylor, both of which start with a 6 p.m. first serve.

FOX Sports Southwest Plus is available in high-definition to all video providers that carry FOX Sports Southwest. The channel is also available through FOXSportsGo.com or the FOXSportsGo app.

Geoff Haxton (play-by-play) and Mike Moffitt (color analyst) will be on the call for all three televised matches. Each remaining home match will be streamed at TexasTech.TV with Haxton, the voice of Red Raider basketball and baseball, calling the action.

Tech open its 2018 campaign at home on Aug. 24-25 with the Red Raider Classic. Tech takes on Northwestern State at 12 p.m. Friday, North Dakota later that evening at 7 p.m. and Rice at noon Saturday. Tickets are available online, at the United Supermarkets Arena box office one hour before first serve, or by calling the Texas Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-8324.
