Texas Tech advances to semifinals, will resume singles action vs. Oklahoma State on Saturday
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 35 Texas Tech Women's Tennis team earned a 4-0 sweep over Fresno State to move onto the semifinal round of the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic Friday afternoon.

With the win, the Lady Raiders extend their win streak to four matches and improve to 7-3 on the season.

The Lady Raiders clinched the first point of the match with doubles wins on courts one and two. Doubles duo Kennedy Bridgforth and Lana Rush picked up their seventh win of the season with a 6-2 victory on court one. Felicity Maltby and Nell Miller also added a win to their record with a 6-2 victory on court two.

In singles action, No. 36 Maltby quickly took care of Fresno State's No. 1 player with a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Francesca Sella captured a 6-4, 6-0 victory on court two just before Denise-Antonela Stoica gave up only two games with a 6-1, 6-1 victory on court four.
