Senior Zuri Sanders recorded her sixth double double of the season
LUBBOCK, Texas – Lady Raider Basketball fell to Kansas State, 75-67, in the final road game of the season.

Texas Tech moves to 12-16 on the season and 3-14 in Big 12 play. K-State improved to 19-10, 10-7 in Big 12 play.

The Lady Raiders erased an eight-point deficit with a 14-6 run to close out the first quarter. Tech's run was sparked by a three-pointer from Sydney Goodson before junior Kiara Shoals had a scoop and score for two points. The Lady Raiders pulled ahead, 16-15, with back-to-back free throws from Erin DeGrate.

K-State started out the second period strong once again, taking an 11-point lead with six minutes left in the half. Texas Tech went on to score 15 unanswered points to regain a 36-32 lead. During that stretch, 14 of those 15 points were in the paint. Rachel Ranke sunk a three-pointer at the buzzer to put K-State ahead, 39-38 at the half.

The third quarter was point-for-point until the Wildcats shot 64 percent from the field and 66 percent from the three while holding the Lady Raiders to just 33 percent from the field.

Neither team shot well in the final period, but the Lady Raiders couldn't overcome the K-State lead.

Texas Tech: Four Lady Raiders scored in double figures. Zuri Sanders led the team with 15 points and 12 rebounds for her sixth double double of the season and ninth of her career. Brittany Brewer scored a team-leading 20 points while Erin DeGrate and Sydney Goodson scored 10 points each. Â

K-State: K-State had all five starters in double figures, led by Peyton Williams who scored 24 points and had 15 rebounds. Kali Jones and Rachel Ranke had 11 points while Kayla Goth and Christianna Carr scored 10 apiece.
