BAHAMAS TOUR: Follow the Red Raiders

PARADISE ISLAND – Texas Tech will play three games on its Bahamas summer tour, but the Red Raiders are also going to make an impact on the community and have fun along the way.
On Tuesday, the Red Raiders practiced for two hours and then held a clinic at a neighborhood basketball court for underprivileged kids. The players interacted with the youth through basketball and also gave them school supplies, TTU shirts and balls and also a lunch. The team then returned to their hotel and went swimming in the ocean and also rode water rides.
The Red Raiders open the tour against the Bahamas Select National Team on Wednesday, Aug. 14 before playing twice against Mega Bemax on Aug. 15 and Aug. 18. Flohoops.com will provide live and on-demand coverage for each of the three games at Kendal G.L. Isaacs National Gymnasium. Admission for the games is $10 cash. Mega Bemax is a professional basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia and plays in the Basketball League of Serbia and the Adriatic League First Division.
