Matt Wells Radio Show Debuts Wednesday Night at Rudy's

“Red Raider Football with Matt Wells” will air from 7-8 p.m. each Wednesday night during the season
LUBBOCK, Texas – The first episode of "Red Raider Football with Matt Wells" will debut from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday night from Rudy's Country Store & BBQ, the first of 12 broadcasts featuring the first-year head coach on the Texas Tech Sports Network.
The weekly radio show will move to Wednesday nights beginning this season, featuring Tech sideline reporter Chris Level as the show's host as well as Wells and a pair of Red Raiders each week. Jordyn Brooks and Donta Thompson will represent the Red Raiders on air this week to preview Tech's season opener Saturday against Montana State.
Fans attending Wednesday's radio show will have a chance to receive complimentary tickets to the Montana State game as well as submit questions to Wells that will be read throughout the night. The best questions throughout the program will receive complementary tickets to Saturday's game.
"Red Raider Football with Matt Wells" will air locally each week on Double T 97.3 FM and throughout the state via the Texas Tech Sports Network. Those unable to attend the show in person can also listen via the TuneIn app or via the internet at TexasTech.TV
Kickoff for Saturday's season opener is slated for 3 p.m. inside Jones AT&T Stadium. Brian Jensen will have the call on the Texas Tech Sports Network and will be joined by longtime analyst John Harris and Level reporting from the sidelines beginning with a 2:30 p.m. pregame show.
