
Lady Raider Tennis Closes Fall Schedule in Stillwater

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raider tennis team wraps up its fall schedule this week as they travel to Stillwater, Okla., to compete at Oklahoma State's fall tournament, beginning on Friday and wrapping up Sunday.

Along with the Lady Raiders, the field at the tournament includes a number of Big 12 teams, including Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State Oklahoma, TCU, and Texas.

Lady Raiders set to make the trip to Stillwater include Kailey Evans, Olivia Mikkelson, Nell Miller, Olivia Peet, Kaitlin Staines and Camryn Stepp. No live scoring will be available but results will be posted on TexasTech.com at the end of each day, with live updates throughout the weekend on Twitter (@TexasTechWTEN).

Texas Tech is coming off a strong performance at the Texas A&M Invitational last month, as the team combined to go 6-1 in doubles and 8-4 in singles over the course of the three-day tournament.

Mikkelson finished her first weekend of collegiate competition with a 3-0 mark in singles and 2-1 in doubles in College Station. Miller and Evans both went 2-1 in singles on the week. Staines and Miller finished 3-0 in doubles.
