Red Raiders Begin 2020-21 Campaign in Oklahoma

Texas Tech tees off the two-day Schooner Fall Classic at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning
NORMAN, Okla. – The Texas Tech women's golf team will tee off their 2020-21 season Sunday morning at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman.

The season debut will take place at Belmar Golf Club, a 6,094-yard par 70 course. The Red Raiders will play 36 holes Sunday, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The third and final round will also start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.

Sunday's return to Norman will be the first at the Schooner Fall Classic for the Red Raiders since the fall of 2014 when Tech finished in 12th place and was led by former Tech golfers Stephanie Bertelsen and Sarah Brown.

The Red Raiders are headed by three-time All-American Sofia Garcia, who will look to continue her success from her junior campaign where she captured an individual title at the and tied her program-low round of 64 in the final round of the SMU Trinity Forest Invitational.

Junior Anna Dong will also make her season debut on the heels of a season where she posted a scoring average of 73.4 and secured a runner-up finish at the SMU/DAC Challenge in February. Junior Amy Taylor, sophomore Cecilie Nielsen and freshman Pyrene Delample round out head coach JoJo Robertson's lineup.
