LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech women's golf added Tarini Bhoga to its roster on Wednesday, head coach JoJo Robertson announced. Bhoga is a transfer who will join the Red Raiders as a junior for the 2026-27 season after spending the past two seasons at UT Arlington.
Bhoga is from Frisco, Texas, and attended Frisco Centennial High School. She was recognized as the 2023-24 North Texas High School Golf Coaches Association Girls Player of the Year after closing her senior season by winning the individual title at the 2024 UIL Class 5A Girls Golf State Tournament at Legacy Hills Golf Club in Georgetown, Texas. An opening-round 65 gave Bhoga a three-stroke lead entering the final round, where she closed with a 1-under 71 to finish at 8-under-par 136, two strokes ahead of the runner-up. Frisco Centennial finished second in the team standings, four strokes behind state champion Alamo Heights.
Bhoga continued her golf career at nearby UT Arlington, where she competed in all 11 tournaments during her freshman season and posted a 76.1 scoring average. The best finish during her first season at UTA was ninth place, coming at the West Texas Classic (March 3-4, 2025) and the Missouri State Ozarks National Invitational (March 24-26, 2025). She recorded five top-10 finishes during her freshman campaign, including three 10th-place finishes in addition to her pair of ninth-place results.
As a sophomore, Bhoga again competed in every team event, playing in all 12 tournaments while leading the Mavericks with a 75.2 scoring average across 35 rounds. She added three more top-10 finishes, highlighted by a career-best sixth-place finish at the Jayhawk Invitational, held Aug. 24-25, 2025, at The Jayhawk Club.
Bhoga joins a Texas Tech program coming off its fifth NCAA Championship appearance in program history this past May.
