Kaufman Claims Four Winds Invitational Title

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Former Texas Tech women's golfer Kim Kaufman captured her third Symetra Tour tournament title on Sunday at the Four Winds Invitational at Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend, Indiana.
Kaufman's victory was her first since 2014 as she fired off rounds of 67, 69 and 69 to best Robyn Choi by one shot at 11-under. The weekend's win moves her to the top of the Symetra Tour money list and the leading spot in the "Volvik Race for the Card." She has earned over $1.4 million in career earnings since departing Tech and has totaled $37,232 over five events on the Symetra Tour this season.
The South Dakota native was a two-time All-America selection as a Red Raider, posting a 74.0 scoring average in her time in Lubbock. Her career mark is second all-time among Tech golfers.
Kaufman has also made three of five cuts on the LPGA Tour this season, including a tie for 38th at the Marathon LPGA Classic, her best of the season.
