Texas Tech will face top-seeded TCU Thursday, Nov. 4 at 4:30 p.m.
ROUND ROCK, Texas –The No. 5-seeded Texas Tech soccer team (11-5-3) advanced to the Big 12 semifinals in a penalty kick shootout over No. 4-seeded Oklahoma State Sunday afternoon at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.Â

After a 0-0 game following two sudden death overtime periods, the Red Raiders advanced via a 5-4 score in penalties. It's the first time since 2019 that the Red Raiders win in penalty kicks – 2-2 (4-3) versus Pepperdine.Â

The Red Raiders launched eight shots in the second half as four came on goal and then went on to register one shot apiece in the overtime periods. Heading into the penalty shootout, TTU made its first four shots but both teams would miss the mark on the next two attempts. After Jordie Harr converted her shot, Madison White came up with the outstretched hand save under the cross bar to send TTU onto the next round.Â
