Men’s Tennis Heads to Dallas for Neutral Site Match Versus San Diego

LUBBOCK – Riding a four match win streak, the No. 31 Texas Tech men's tennis team (6-2) will head to Dallas for a neutral site match versus San Diego (4-2) on March 12 at 11 a.m. The Red Raiders are coming off a hard fought win over Tulane last Sunday. The win was clinched with a gutsy performance from junior Issac Arevalo who won his three set battle 5-7, 6-2, 6-3.
The Toreros are coming off a tough loss to No. 18 Arizona. San Diego is paced by junior August Holmgren who defeated (No. 50) Jonas Ziverts of the Wildcats 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Tech leads the all-time series with San Diego 5-2 heading into the match. Live stats will not be available, but the match can be seen live. Fans are also encouraged to follow updates on the Red Raider tennis Twitter and Instagram accounts (@TexasTechMTEN).
