No. 31 Texas Tech Set to Face Familiar Foe in Dallas

Red Raiders to face No. 26 Sooners in Neutral Site Match
Lubbock – The No. 31 Red Raider (7-2) men's tennis will look to continue climbing the national ranks when they take on No. 26 Oklahoma (7-7) at the Richland Tennis Center on Sunday at noon in Dallas.
The Red Raiders are in the midst of a five match win streak, coming off a 4-1 win over the No. 35 Toreros of San Diego. The Red Raiders were paced by the dominant play of Ilgiz Valiev, who, along with partner Dimitrios Azoidis, contributed to Tech taking the doubles point. Valiev continued his winning ways on the singles court, defeating the Toreros' Nico Borter 6-4, 6-3.
The Sooners are coming off a 4-2 loss to in-state rival No. 25 Oklahoma State. Oklahoma is led by Mason Beiler, ranked No. 69 in singles play. This marks the first time the two conference foes have met since the 2019 Big 12 Tennis Championships.
