Tech's night began early, with the scoreboard lighting up in the ninth minute courtesy of Brittany Martin. Martin, who has now scored twice this spring, crashed the net in textbook fashion as Kirsten Davis drove down the right side of the box. Davis' cross was on a rope, and Martin got her head on it, beating the keeper with ease.
Stay right there, @brittanyalyson8 ??

The back line was not done contributing to the score sheet. This time, at the back post again, Briley Weatherford found herself with a wide-open look at net. She finished at the 26-minute mark, marking her first collegiate goal.

Leading 2-0 at the halfway point, Tech was rolling. Schultz picked up her first of two goals in the 59th minute. It came on the end of an incredible ball from Hannah Anderson. Anderson, after winning a ball in the midfield, scanned the field and saw Schultz moving towards goal near the back post. Knowing the defender was beat, she lofted it perfectly. Schultz had about as wide-open of a header as you can have and converted it with ease.
Anderson drops the dime, Schultz gets her the assist she deserves.

Seeing another member of the offense get on the board, Kirsten Davis knew she wanted to be involved, too. Davis' score came all on her own after she drove down the left end of the field. She beat a Lady Buff defender on the end line, dribbled towards net, and blasted it past the keeper near-post.
The longer KD runs with the ball, the more trouble you're in.

Approaching the 4-0 win, Schultz tacked on another for good measure. This one came on a breakaway where she found herself one-on-one with the keeper as a defender made her way towards Schultz from the right. Schultz took her time and slotted it home, capping off the offensive explosion.
The Red Raiders out-shot the Lady Buffs, 19-8. Seven of Tech's shots made it on frame. Goalkeeper Madison White faced three shots and saved all three.
As it stands, Tech's spring will conclude with an April 17 match at Baylor. First touch will be at 2 p.m. and the game will stream live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
