Red Raiders Return Home to Face Horned Frogs

LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 21 Texas Tech men's tennis team (12-4, 1-2) returns home to host the No. 6 TCU Horned Frogs this Friday at 5 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The Red Raiders are looking to rebound from a hard fought loss to the No. 2 Baylor Bears last week. The match was highlighted by a three set win by junior Franco Ribero who battled back from a first set loss to defeat Sven Lah 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 to secure the Red Raiders lone point.
TCU (14-5, 3-0) comes into Friday night's match up riding a four match win streak. The Horned Frogs are coming off a 5-2 over No. 21 Oklahoma last Sunday afternoon. The TCU lineup is paced by the No. 4 nationally ranked doubles team of Alastair Gray and Luc Fomba (10-5, 2-0).
Before the match, the Red Raiders will recognize graduating seniors, and team captains, Parker Wynn and Justin Bloss. Tech will also host their "Topspin to Win" event where all fans in attendance will have a chance to win various Red Raider prizes, as well as free food courtesy of Whataburger.
