Baseball announces Red and Black series schedule

Update (Thursday, 2 p.m.) -- Due to Friday's weather forecast, Game 2 will move to Sunday while Game 3 info will be announced at a later date.

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech head baseball coach Tim Tadlock announced Tuesday the schedule for the 2022 Red and Black Series, which is set to begin Thursday, Oct. 27 at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
The Red Raiders will open the series with a pair of 3:30 p.m. starts on Thursday and Friday before taking Saturday off. The Texas Tech football team hosts Baylor on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
The finale gets started at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The Red and Black Series serves as the public's last opportunity this fall to get a glimpse of this year's team before the spring slate gets underway in February.
Each intrasquad scrimmage is open to the public and free of charge. Team rosters will be available at the gate. No live stats or streaming will be available.
