Texas Tech to face Oklahoma in Big 12 Tournament Quarterfinals

Tech downed Oklahoma 3-1 in its lone matchup this season
ROUND ROCK, Texas – The No. 3 seed Texas Tech will square off against the No. 6 seed Oklahoma in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament Sunday night at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
Texas Tech (9-3-6, 5-1-3 Big 12) finished the regular season tied for second place with nationally ranked TCU. After earning a draw with the Horn Frogs, the Red Raiders were slated as the third seed in the conference tournament due to goal differential.
Tech is heading into Round Rock on a hot streak and is unbeaten in the last six matchups.
The Red Raiders have also garnered Big 12 weekly honors in three straight weeks. After the Kansas road trip, Ashleigh Williams and Elise Anderson were tabbed Big 12 Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week while Madison White has earned Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week in back-to-back weeks.
Scouting the Sooners
Oklahoma (8-7-3, 3-5-1 Big 12) s responded to an 0-2-1 start by going on an eight-game unbeaten streak and six-game win streak through the months of September and October.
Much like the Red Raiders, Oklahoma is a score by committee team. The Sooner have had 12 different goal scorers this season.

• Madison White enters Sunday night ranked fourth in Tech's career goals against record (0.86), second in career shutouts (26) and sixth in career saves (191).
• The Red Raiders boast a young roster with the addition of 10 freshmen. Freshman Kylie Bahr is the only freshmen to have started every games so far this season while freshman Peyton Parsons and freshman Molly Skurcenski have both seen starts in the midfield and backline.
